Parent Expectations

• Some of our best friendships have been forged at the rink. Please meet everyone around you, don’t be shy.
• Remember that its ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!!! Please let the players play, coaches coach, and referees call the game.
• Cheer on ALL of the players and please refrain from talking negatively about another player.
• Get involved and volunteer on your team!

Attendance:

• If your player cannot attend a practice or game, please give your coach and team manager a heads up as soon as possible. 

Player Ice Time is Earned Based On:

• Attendance 
• Effort 
• Attitude 
• Sportsmanship 
• Unselfish team play 

As a parent/guardian of a participant in the Bucks Elite Hockey Program, I agree to abide by and support the following principles of this Parent Code of Conduct:

• Parents will not coach their child during practices and games nor shout at their child or any other participant on or off the ice.
• Parents will refrain from shouting at any game official, coach, player or parent (see USA Hockey Zero Tolerance policy).
• Parents will not confront or hassle any game official for any reason.
• Parents agree to refrain from confronting a coach for any disputed decision for a minimum of 24 hours after the end of the game or practice involved unless the matter is an urgent safety concern.
• Parents will encourage their child to play by the rules, be a good teammate and work hard during practices.
• Parents will set a good example for their child by showing good sportsmanship during games, never booing or heckling players or officials, never encouraging or cheering poor behavior.
• Parents will support the coaches and game officials by acting appropriately regardless of the outcome of the game, personal feelings or opinions.

I understand and agree that violating these principles will incur disciplinary measures, which may include, but are not limited to, prohibition from attending certain or all team functions or activities, and/or expulsion from the Bucks Elite Hockey Program. All disciplinary measures will be decided upon and enforced by the Bucks Elite Hockey Board of Directors. All disciplinary action may be appealed, but all action takes immediate effect and shall remain in place until the appeal is ruled upon.
