About Us
Mission statement
Use Hockey to develop character and grow student athletes to become better people.
Goal
Set the standard for the best team culture in Arizona Travel Hockey.
Culture
The Bucks Culture is a fun, family and team-oriented environment, centered around the physical and mental benefits provided through the incredible journey we call a hockey season. We offer a highly competitive Travel Hockey program in the Greater Phoenix Valley, but do not travel out of state to reduce time and costs burdens on families. We compete in local tournaments to reduce time away from our daily lives, and to reduce travel costs, yet still play nationally ranked teams from around the country. We wake up in our own beds during the holidays. We encourage multiple sports for our athletes. We understand everyone’s life situation is different and strive to provide a program that is built to accommodate everyone’s unique situation. We employ a Mentorship Program between older and younger players to facilitate growth, leadership, and positive experiences at all ages, both on and off the ice. In the end, we understand that our integrity (as both athletes and coaches) is defined by our actions and that competition and adversity do not build character, they reveal it. We strive to provide the best hockey experiences to players and parents, all the while elevating the kids to be the best people they can be.
